Once per year the participants of the Research School are participating in a soft skill program organized by the Helmholtz Association.

2012 Hofgeismar - Course III - H-QM3

The third softskill seminar of the H-QM3 group will be held in Hofgeismar, close to Kassel, in September 2012.
In cooperation with coaches from the Imperial College London it will focus career and leadership aspects.

2012 Waldthausen - Course I - H-QM4

The first softskill seminar of the H-QM4 group will be held in Academie Waldthausen, close to Mainz, in April 2012.
As usual it will be organized as a joint workshop with the other German Helmholtz Research Schools and coaches from Imperial College, London.

2011 Bredbeck - Course III - H-QM2

The third softskill seminar of the H-QM2 group will be held in Haus Bredbeck, close to Bremen, in September 2011.
In cooperation with coaches from the Imperial College London it will focus career and leadership aspects.

2011 Hohenheim - Course II - H-QM3

The second softskill seminar of the H-QM3 group will be held in Tagungszentrum Hohenheim, close to Stuttgart, in June 2011.
Topics are presentations skills and scientific writing.

2011 Buchenau - Course I - H-QM3

Another basic course in transferable skills will be held in Castle Buchenau April 15.-18. 2011. It will be organized as a joint workshop with the other German Helmholtz Research Schools and coaches from Imperial College, London.

2010 Ebernburg - Course I - H-QM3

The initial course for the third H-QM group in the series of H-QM softskill trainings will be held in the Ebernburg November 25 - December 1, 2010. It will be organized as a joint workshop with the other German Helmholtz Research Schools and coaches from Imperial College, London. >Details.

2010 Lohmar - Course II - H-QM2

The second course in the series of H-QM softskill trainings will be held in Lohmar June 17.-21. 2010. It will be organized as a joint workshop with the other German Helmholtz Research Schools and coaches from Imperial College, London. Participants will work on their presentation and scientific writing skills. >Details.

2010 Buchenau - Course I - H-QM2

A basic course in transferable skills will be held in Castle Buchenau February 24.-27. 2010. It will be organized as a joint workshop with the other German Helmholtz Research Schools and coaches from Imperial College, London.

2009 Cologne - Course I - H-QM2

The first softskill seminar of the second H-QM group will be held in Cologne in December 2009. In this first seminar of a three year series the focus will be on general introduction to transferable skills. The program will be conducted in cooperation with the Imperial College London.

2007 - Easthampstedt Park - Course I - H-QM1

The first Helmholtz Softskill Program was organized together with the Imperial College London in June 2007. The venue was Easthampsted Park, a Victorian country mansion located within 60 acres of parkland, not far from London, GB.
