General information

This year's soft skill program will be organized by the Helmholtz Association as a 3-day joint seminar of the three pioneering Helmholtz research schools in Germany. To meet the high quality approach of the Helmholtz Association for this program the soft skill program will be organized in cooperation with the Imperial College in London.

Practical Information

Begin/End

The soft skill program starts with a common dinner on Sunday/Tuesday evening at 18:00.
The soft skill program will close on Tuesday/Thursday at about 16:30

Venue

The soft skill course will be held at the International House Sonnenberg in Sankt Andreasberg in the Harz.

Travel

We will travel as a group by bus. The buses will leave Campus Riedberg on Sunday/Tuesday at 12:30. We expect to return to Campus Riedberg on Tuesday/Thursday at about 20:30

If you have to go separate please contact the coordinator in advance.

Accomodation

Accomodation will be in double rooms. Room assignments can be found >here

Food

It is possible to have vegetarian meals and lactose free food. Special requests need to be received by July 1.

What to bring

Linen und towels will be provided.

Expenses

There are no local expenses to cover accomodation or the program. All meals are included.

Internet

Wireless internet access is available in the meeting rooms.

Insurance

Though this trip will not generate any costs for your supervisor or group please do not forget to file a trip request so you are covered by insurance during the lecture week.
